Important Announcement Regarding Accreditation of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship Programs

The Program Information File ("PIF") for adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology is now available at the ACGME website. The Anesthesiology Residency Review Committee (RRC) will review submitted PIFs promptly, facilitating rapid decisions for those departments that wish to have accredited programs for the 2007-2008 academic year. PIFs received by August 15th will be reviewed at the September 2006 RRC meeting. Those received between August 16th and December 15th will be reviewed at the January 2007 RRC meeting.
