Comments: The fellowship year offers an outstanding clinical experience in adult cardiac, thoracic and major vascular anesthesia, with a strong focus on TEE. All fellows so far have taken and passed the echo board exam. Participation in clinical research, with presentation of one abstract at a national meeting, is expected.

Clinical Responsibility: Clinical 80%, nonclinical 20%
