APPLICATION PROCESS:

We are accepting applications for the 2011-2012 fellowship class. We continue to review applications until June 30, 2010 for interview offers. Notifications of interviews at Brigham and Women's Hospital start at the beginning of April 2010. We interview top applicants starting April 2010 until the beginning of July 2010. Fellowship positions are offered mid-July 2010. We do not have a rolling admissions process, all fellowship offers are tendered at the same time. Comments: We have 31 cardiothoracic anesthesia faculty that are actively involved in fellow education. The ACGME Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship has six positions available per year. Most fellows start the program in July or August. Other non-ACGME fellowships are available that are more research focused. A combined ACGME two-year ICU/CT Anesthesia Fellowship and a focused Thoracic Anesthesia Fellowship are also available.
