Dear Dr. Fleming:

Your idea is excellent, and like so many great ideas, it has not been yours alone. The day you were sending me the suggestion, Daniel Gainyard, Heather Spiess and their colleagues at the SCA Headquarters were sending out an email to all members with email addresses. The announcement has links to the website, and it gives the titles of articles in the Newsletter as well as other items of interest to our members. According to Dr. Dave Reich, our Webmaster, it would be difficult to send the full Newsletter as an email at this time for technical reasons.
